For those unaware or who need a refresher, 365 Days is a Polish erotic thriller film that hit Netflix in 2020 and immediately made a big splash with critics (who weren’t super into it) and regular viewers around to world (who were more into it, or at least, into clicking on it) alike, likely do to the overtly sexual themes and images that pervade most of the film.
365 Days follows Massimo Torricelli (Michele Morrone), a member of the Sicilian Mafia family, and Laura Biel (Anna-Maria Sieklucka), a sales director who is unhappy in her current stable but unexciting relationship. Whilst on a trip to Sicily to try to relight the spark between her and her boyfriend, Martin (Mateusz Łasowski), Laura is kidnapped by Massimo who has been taken by her beauty since he caught a glimpse of her five years prior in a chance run-in, and he gives her 365 days to fall in love with him.

If you have eyes or ears, you have probably heard of Fifty Shades of Grey somewhere along the way. The 2015 erotic romance-drama (based on E.L. James’ Fifty Shades erotic novel series) revolves around college senior Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) as she steps in for her sick roommate to interview prominent businessman Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) for their campus paper, leading to a chain of events and a unique relationship she could have never seen coming. The two end up finding themselves inexplicably and magnetically drawn to one another and engage in an affair that challenges sheltered and sexually inexperienced, Ana, especially when she learns of Christian’s hidden sexual proclivities that revolve around pushing the boundaries between pain and pleasure.

Speaking of pain and pleasure… Pleasure or Pain is an unrated 2013 erotic thriller about a wealthy real estate developer named Jack (Christos Vasilopoulos) who seduces Victoria (Malena Morgan), a beautiful young woman, from her mundane, regular life and shows her a world of debauchery, ecstasy, and intensity that pushes her sexual and emotional limits to the very edge.
